CO Monitors

What is Carbon Monoxide?
Considered to most as the “Silent Killer”, Carbon Monoxide is a colorless, odorless, toxic gas. Since it is impossible to taste or smell, you can become very ill before you know it!

Sources
Carbon Monoxide can come from a number of different places:
   • Gas-fired appliances - Furnaces, stoves,
      water heaters, etc.
   • Charcoal grills
   • Wood burning fireplaces
   • Motor vehicles
   • Generators
   • Tobacco Smoke
   • Chimneys
   • Space Heaters

Prevention
The best way to protect yourself and your family from Carbon Monoxide is by installing a Carbon Monoxide Monitor. The National Comfort Institute produces a continuous scanning, low-level monitor that will alert you with even the smallest amount of CO detection.

Just like smoke detectors, we recommend installing one Carbon Monoxide Monitor on each floor of your home. Give our office a call and they can schedule an appointment to have them installed.
